Buying Congress through campaign contributions has always been a common activity in Washington, but at least in the past it was somewhat hidden.
Rep. Peter Viclosky (IN) obviously skipped that part of the new member training when he was elected to office.
The Washington Post provides yet another prime example of just how corrupt our elected officials are and why we desperately need to take the money out of politics; public office should be public service, not personal enrichment.
